Safeguarding & Child Protection

We know that some children attending Central Street may be vulnerable and, as adults, we have a moral duty to protect them, to ensure their needs ate met and to support them and their family. As adults working with children, we have a statutory duty to ensure their safety and the healthy development of all children in our care.  As a school community, we are strongly committed to working in close partnership with families and other agencies. It is everyone's responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of our children.

If you have any concerns, no matter how small they seem, about the safety or welfare of any child, please come and talk to us:

Mrs Jenny Melling - Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Mrs Louisa Bright - Deputy DSL

Ms Katherine Wood - Deputy DSL
