• A small school with a big heart

Learning is really special at Central Street - each child is treasured as an individual and nurtured as a learner.

  • A small school with a big heart

Based in the beautiful historic town of Hebden Bridge, our school is an inspiring place to learn - benefitting from amazing indoor learning spaces and unique playground areas and gardens overlooking the River Calder.

  • A small school with a big heart

Here at Central Street we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, truly inclusive place to learn. We pride ourselves on our expertise and ethos supporting all learners whatever their starting points. Everyone is welcome here; everyone is safe here.

  • A small school with a big heart

We are ambitious on behalf of the Central Street children - we want them to have high expectations of themselves. Our ethos, rooted in the growth mindset, supports our learners in challenging themselves to aspire be the best that they can be - kind, resilient and curious learners.
